Joe for Model Number MAH4000AWW I am having problems with my Maytag washer model MAH4000AWW. The unit shuts off intermittently during operation. It can be restarted by pushing the start button and will run for a period. The motor seems to work OK; it turns the drum both ways and spins fast. The wax motor has been changed to the new model, and the fwd limit switch was temporarily jumpered out. The incoming water screens were cleaned and the water flow looks good. The hose to the water level switch was disconnected and blown out. The control board has no apparent component damage. The wiring connectors are secure. The discharge pump is clean. The limit switches were tested and appear to be working OK.
Answer Hello Joe. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, December 10, 2013
