Kristi for Model Number MAH8700AWW I have a Maytag Neptune MAH8700AWW, S/N is 12535602GT I have purchased a re-manufactured control board, part # WP34001494 Reading through this forum, I see that and another part# referenced (for the same model/control board). The other part I see is WP34001498 (last # is different). Can anyone confirm if the one I ordered is the right part? WP34001494 Are WP34001494 and WP34001498 interchangeable? How can I tell which one I need (is it based on S/N and not Model #?) The serial number is 12535602GT Thank you!
Answer Kristi, Based on the information provided...model#MAH8700AWW & S/N (12)535602GT The first two numbers of the S/N is the series number the manufacturer's parts list shows the original part number to have been Mfg.# 34001478 which has crossed over to Mfg.# part number WP34001495 and our part number WP34001495 which has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available.
