The other part I see is WP34001498 (last # is different). Can anyone confirm if the one I ordered is the right part? WP34001494 Are WP34001494 and WP34001498 interchangeable? How can I tell which one I need (is it based on S/N and not Model #?) The serial number is 12535602GT Thank you!
1 Answer Kristi, Based on the information provided...model#MAH8700AWW & S/N (12)535602GT The first two numbers of the S/N is the series number the manufacturer's parts list shows the original part number to have been Mfg.# 34001478 which has crossed over to Mfg.# part number WP34001495 and our part number WP34001495 which has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. 1 Answer Anthony, You will want to check the motor to make sure that it is good. If you check any of the 3 pins on the motor there should be a resistance of 11.6 ohms of resistance. If the resistance is not good then will need a new motor. Also make sure that the shaft of the motor is turning freely. Check to make sure that the drum will rotate freely. If this checks ok then this will most likely be an issue with the main control board. Read More...
