Ceebee I have a Whirlpool double door with freezer on bottom, with ice maker and water dispenser on the left door. The freezer was left slightly open overnight and now it will not work. The refrigerator is barely cooling also now. I tried resetting and “nothing.” Still the same. I unplugged and plugged back in and still the same. I tried opening all doors and unplugging for 24 hrs. and still not working. I understand it could be the damper being stuck or bad, due to the door being left open. Any ideas?
Answer CeeBee, Remove the drawer from the freezer and remove the back panel. Check for ice build up around the evaporator fan motor. Also check to make sure that the evaporator coils are not frozen over. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 5, 2021
