Ron for Model Number Amana ABB1924DEW Refrigerator / Freezer This unit has the control damper Item Number: AP4079111 Manufacturer's Number: 67003903 mounted so it is oriented with the motor above the damper. When the damper is in the closed position there is about a 1/8" gap like the spring doesn't pull it fully closed. I need to know if this is normal or if it should close completely and not let a small amount of air past. I've cycled it manually and it opens fully and the motor returns to the closed position and stops ok.
