Mark for Model Number KDUV 24 SEBL1 On the wash cycle, the timer seems to "hang" around the 38 minute mark, consequently, having the entire cycle last about 10 -15 minutes more than specified. Is the timer on the control board, and the entire board need to be replaced? any other possibilities for it acting like this? If it is the control board, are yours reconditioned and is there a core refund should I return my existing one?
Answer Mark, This issue does sound like it would be caused by the main control board but you will want to check the heating cycle to make sure that it is working properly. There are stages in which the dishwasher will pause to heat the water. There would be a water heating display showing at this point. The water temp has to rise to 140 degrees or the unit will time out and continue cycle after 25 minutes. The spot that the unit is stopping would be a water heating area. Read More...
