Shane for Model Number Whirlpool Duet Gas Dryer My Duet dryer decided to stop working on me. When I press "Control On" everything comes on as it should. Then when I press the "Hold to Start" button I get a humming noise like the igniter is trying to light, but then nothing happens. Nothing at all. Tumbler does not rotate, doesn't blow any air, and then when you try and start it again it does nothing. I did the TEST #2 Motor Circuit Test and checked the resistance across P1-3 and P1-4 and had 2.5 ohms when I checked it at the connector. Do I check it on the circuit board without it plugged in or can I check it through the back of the connector? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Answer Hello Shane. You need to check it not being plugged in. It sounds like the motor may be bad in the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 18, 2014
