John R for Model Number GEW9200LQ0 Hello: my Duet. Starts normally but has no heat. I replaced the heating element about 1 year ago, tested element, all thermostats, thermal fuse, high heat fuse, thermistor and all show continuity. I tested plug connectors, right to middle= 120v, left to middle = 120v, left to right = 245v. Is it the board?
Answer John, There is a good chance that the relay on the board is bad and would be causing the unit to not heat. If you go to the control board and locate the heater relay. Turn the unit on to a dry setting and test for 240 vac across the relay. If there is 240 vac then the issue will be a faulty board and it will need to be replaced. Read More...
