Dominique for Model Number Kenmore Elite 4 Quietpack Hi, my dryer started responding erratically recently. Some button stopped responding, other were ok. e.g. I am able to start a "jeans" cycle, but the button "normal" do not engage the cycle at all, during a cycle the "end of cycle signal" change setting by itself, "check lint screen" was preventing a cycle to start even though I cleaned up the whole thing twice, etc. I reset the dryer, everything worked fine 1 time, than started again the erratic behavior. I went through the technical sheet, check all the resistance of all the button, they are all good. Tried the diagnosis mode, work one time with no error code, all buttons responded upon pressure, than the second time I couldn't even enter the diagnosis mode because de "less time" button wasn't responding. It point out to a control board issue and I am looking to replace it, but I still have a doubt that it could be the console electronics and housing that is at fault. I want to make sure I don't order the wrong part (even though your return policy seems to be good). Would you be going for the control board WP8546219, or the electronic housing? Thank you.
