Mark for Model Number 110-82822102 My dryer is heating up only for a short time period. After checking airflow, as well as the coil, thermostat and hi-temp sensor with an ohm meter, they all are working fine. I've switched to normal cycles and it seems to work. Am I going to have to replace the control board or is there something else I can check? Thanks, Mark
Answer Hello Mark. If the unit works on one cycle, but not on the other, then you will need to replace the control in the unit. It should be the user interface board, but you will need to test and make sure the main pcb WP8546219 is not shorting out on the relay. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
