HI Steve. This control is called the damper assy. It controls the amount of desired freezer air incoming to the fresh food section. Failure that commonly freezes the flapper and makes the drive motor hard to operate and you hear the constant noise of the motor/flapper area. It is part # WPW10594329. Make sure the controls are both at mid point. No colder then 0-or -2° in the freezer and 38-45° in the fresh food. Thank you.
