Joellyn for Model Number Kenmore Elite 10650799000 Our ice maker was not pushing ice through the door. My husband realized that a part had broken, so we replaced it. The coupling on the stationary door unit had broken, so we bought replacement part AP3136992. First off, how exactly does it attach to the shaft? Does it simply sit on top? We replaced the coupling by placing it on the shaft and reassembled the unit. Now, the bottom coupling spins when we push the button on the door, but it doesn't seem to connect to the top coupling (on the bottom of the ice container). Do you have any troubleshooting ideas or recommendations? Thank you!
