Gil for Model Number WED9200SQ0 I get a F25 error code, I replaced the internal and external thermistor and the thermal fuse. I checked all of the duct work for clogs all ok, The dryer runs for about 2-weeks then stops. Power is on but won't start. When I replaced the last it did not have the not in the tin housing, so I had to utiize the old housing ring. would that cause the unit to quit after 2-weeks?
Answer Gil, There are a couple of things that you will want to test for continuity. The first would be the door switch. With the door closed check to make sure that the door switch is showing continuity. If there is no continuity then the switch is bad. If continuity is present then test the thermal fuse on the blower housing. If there is no continuity replace the thermals fuse and if there is continuity then check the belt switch and belt. Make sure that the belt switch has continuity and that the belt is not broken. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 4, 2014
