Bryan for Model Number Kuds01djss0 Well, I replaced the front control panel as it had a corroded flexi wiring harnesse between the black connector and top eschuceon which had water leak past. Unit ran fine before just couldn't select cycle. High fives myself when it ran first cycle to clean backed up loads of dishes. However, couldn't get it to run another load start did nothing cancel would run 2 minute pump out...couldn't enter diagnosis mode. Powered on and off couple times and this changed a little but still really no change. Left unplugged overnight and wife jokingly wave the kids Harry potter wand at it before going to bed. This morning I was able to get it into diagnosis mode (wand worked!) but all led's light up and d1 is displayed then 11, 8, 7,6 5, 4, 3, 2, &1 and you can hear cycles and sometimes ends with flashing add a dish led but still will not run. Why does it skip 10 and 9 and why no error codes. The sheet doesn't even list any error codes for diagnosis mode. Any help would be appreciated if I need to order a part I'd like to do it today. I've double checked heater element thermistor, high temp cutout and will be returning to try the healing wand again. Don't understand the lack of documentation on appliances.
Answer Hi Bryan. The high temp scrub, air dry, hi temp scrub, air dry are the keys to press to operate the diagnostic mode. There is a diagnostic sheet in the kick plate or in between the inner door panel and the control board . Make sure the unit is not over soaping. If so, then fill it up w/ cold water continuously and drain over and over to get rid of the suds. Use a pitcher of water to fill it to the bottom of the element. It is best to use a shop vac and to remove the racks. Then inspect and clean all parts. If the thermistor in the bottom of the tub gets clogged it will not work correctly. Use dishwasher magic monthly to keep unit operating well. Let me know how to help further .You may need the control board part # WP8564543. Thank You. Read More...
