Answer Ivy, Don't replace anything, yet. Your dishwasher maybe operating properly. There are sensors in the pump, if the sensors inform the control to heat the water or there is a large amount of soil on the dishes, etc. the control extends the cycle, and the displayed time can increase or decrease.
