Dale S. for Model Number KUDP01ILBT6 I have a Kitchenaid Dishwasher model KUDP01ILBT6 Serial FR5203112. We turned it on and smoke came out of the door. I turned off the power imediately. I found that the control board had a burned spot on it. Everything else looked fine. Your website said that I needed control board WPL 8564543. I bought it and installed it. The dishwasher now runs and cleans the dishes. But some of the lights on the control come on when the buttons are pushed and some do not. For example, the 'rinse only' light comes on when I push that button but the 'normal wash' light does not. I can use the dishwasher this way, although I really do not know which cycle it is using because the lights do not show. But is it safe? Is this the correct control board?
