Jim for Model Number GU2400XTPS3 Hi, my dishwasher gave the 7-blink light code a few days ago. I ran it through the diagnostics and the heating element was heating fine during the wash cycle where it comes on, but didn't seem to be heating in the dry cycle. Since then, we've been running it with heated dry off and it has been fine until today. Today during a wash cycle, it smelled like burning electronics, so I took out the control board and found the back side of relay K2 was completely charred. a couple capacitors, a diode and a resistor were also really hot. Is it safe to just replace the control board, or is there something else downstream that could have cause the problem?
Answer Hello Jim. Yes, you need to replace the board on the unit. The other parts should be good on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 16, 2013
