Roddy for Model Number GU2400XTPB34 Hey; I changed the Heating element, the Thermostat high limit. My dishwasher refuse to start! Should I go ahead and change the "Main Control Board" located in the front on the door ?
Answer Roddy, No, don't start with the control board. PROBLEM: WON’T RUN OR POWER UP ¦ No operation ¦ No keypad response ¦ No LEDs or display : No power to unit or bad connection. Loose connections in dishwasher power up circuit or between keypad(s) and control. Door switch not making contact: ¦ Faulty door latch assembly. ¦ Faulty door switch. Blown TCO attached to control. Multiple open or shorted circuits in keypad. You'll need to remove the control panel and check the door switches and control thermal fuse, then replace the control panel / keypad assembly if all checks OK.
