Henry for Model Number DU1148XTPQ3 This dishwasher has been sitting in its original box for the past 10 years until last week. I hooked it up and ran it for one cycle without dishes and it ran just fine. Then I loaded up with dishes and it also ran just fine. The following day I loaded it again only this time the rinse and hold button is flashing while the cancel and start buttons do not work. When I repower the unit the green rinse light comes on solid except None of the buttons work save the cancel. I can hear a relay on the panel throw and I am expecting the heater and the water to come on. The water valve is good, The heater element is good as is the fuse. The buttons are opening and closing. So I am thinking it's the control board, likely a relay. Is there something I am missing
Answer Henry, it would be recommended that the panel is checked to identify if the control lock has been activated. If the control lock has not been activated, the keypad would need to be tested to identify if the keys WPW10142948 have failed or if it is the main control WP8564547. The keys would be tested for continuity while the dishwasher power is disconnected. If the keys test good when they measure having continuity when pressed, the main control has failed. If the keys do not show continuity when pressed, the keys have failed. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued both the main control and the keypad assembly and they are no longer available.
