Leo for Model Number DU1055XTPQ3 The soap door mechanism for the main wash on my Whirlpool dishwasher, when the soleniod engages to open the door it oscilates and does not stop. The door does open but the solenoid just keeps on firing. Any suggestions?
Answer Hello Leo, This sounds like the control has a welded relay on it. If turning the power off to the unit for ten minutes doesn't change the operation, the control board will require replacement as long as there are no shorts in the harness, (neutral side of the circuit).
