Rmr for Model Number GU2500XTPS3 I noticed some large carpenter ants going into my dishwasher panel after my dishwasher quit working. After taking the panel off and cleaning all the ants out from inside the panel(there was also a nest on the control panel) the dishwasher worked fine for about a few months. During a cycle (a few minutes) my dishwasher decided to quit working. I took it apart again but could not get it to work. I tried reseting the diagnostics as I have read on your site and others using different button combinations. I have also held in the cancel button and hear a faint motor running. I have also unplugged and plugged the dishwaher in varying time allotments. The only lights I have on is the accusense. It is either constantly on or continously blinking. From what I have read it appears it could be the fuse (I checked the continuity and it is good) or the control panel. I guess it is the control panel. Is this your assessment and should I also purchase the fuse as a preventitive measure. Thank you.
Answer Hello RMR. No, it is not the fuse. There would be no lights or noise from the unit if it were the fuse. It sounds like the control board WP8564547 and panel WP3385744 will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, February 27, 2013
