Answer Pete, The clean light flashing 7 times would be a heater circuit issue. You will want to check the continuity of the heater to make sure that it is not bad. Check the water temp coming into the unit to make sure that it is at least 120 degrees. Check the thermal fuse for the heater to ensure that it is not blown.
