Laura for Model Number KUDS24SEBL2 My KitchenAid dishwasher model KUDS24SEBL2 control panel flashes child lock with no other lights on. The dishwasher does not respond to pushing of the cancel button nor the Energy Saver Dry button normally used to release the child lock mode. The dishwasher does not come on when you hit start and does not respond to any button selection on the panel. I am thinking this is an electronic control board issue. Would you agree or is there some other explanation or part failure? If I open the dishwasher door and close it again, the child lock light goes off momentarily and the washer starts to make a running noise but then stops within 30 to 45 seconds and the light starts flashing again. If it is the electronic control board, I am looking for a part to replace it with. Whirlpool no longer makes or sells the part; original part # WP8051136. Thank you for any advice and help you can provide. Laura
Answer Laura, This would most likely be caused by a faulty main control board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, September 18, 2018
