Paul for Model Number GSF26C4EXB02 H how can I tell if the diffuser w10251495 or the thermistor is the problem. The little baffle door keeps opening and closing and the fresh food compartment is not cold enough.
Answer Hello Paul, You can check the thermistor by checking resistance. The resistance of thermistor should be 2.7K @ 77 degrees, 7.964K @ 36 degrees and 23.345K @ 0 degrees. If this checks ok then you may want to check the control sending power to the damper. The control tells the damper to open and close based on the thermistor reading. Read More...
