Mrspolly for Model Number DWU7400BAX I was pleased to find this forum as I also bought a WP99002572 replacement bottom rack. The one I got came with wheels and 2 extra long tine pieces and no instructions on what to do with them. In reading all the comments I find that Whirlpool no longer makes the kind of adjustable tines that were on my original and that if you got the two long tines, they were included with the rack by mistake! What to do? Hubby and I played around with them and decided that they fit best in the right back corner, running from back to front alongside existing grid wires. We tied each in place with 3 small zip ties. Voila! This area is wide enough that I can now put luncheon sized plates there. Hope this helps.
Answer MrsPolly, Thanks for your update, but, the AP6014443 lower rack does include the adjustable tines, per the factory " Part Comes With Only New Tines In Some Cases Cust. Original Fold Down Tines Can Be Reused. If You Need Tine Clips These Are Sold Separately " . If you'd prefer to have the tine clips instead of the wire ties the part numbers are WPY912709 / WPY912709 Clip, and WPW10116789 / WPW10116789 Sleeve, you'd need two(2) of each.
