Frank for Model Number Whirpool Accubake WFG371LVS1 Is there a video/instructions that shows how to replace the oven igniter? My oven's broiler mode works, but not when I put it on bake mode. I've removed the bottom panel and I have the oven burner exposed and I can see the igniter. In fact, when I tried it, it actually ignited! But after I turned it off and waited 10 minutes or so and tried to turn it back on, it didn't work.
Answer Hello Frank. Sorry, we do not have a video at this time. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter and the igniter will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
