Baker Gal for Model Number CGS3760ADW Hi I have a Maytag gas oven that ignites and heats to temp, but then will read "F1" ( fire) fan comes on and oven shuts off. But, it does not do this every time I use the oven, sometimes I can run it for three hours at a high temp (425f) without a problem. Generally though the above happens, and even if oven has cooled fan will suddenly come on, then off, then on again.
Answer Baker Gal, You will want to do a resistance check on the oven sensor to make sure that it is good. The resistance should be 1090 ohms at room temp. If the resistance checks ok then the issue will be in the control board and the control will need to be replaced. The part number for the control board is WP5760M185-60. Read More...
