Jose for Model Number SF362LXSS1 I have a Whirlpool SF362LXSS gas range with an intermittent oven problem. The first time you press bake and start, the burner comes on and heats to the set point and turns off. It never comes back on. If you then press bake and start, it works normally. So you always have to wait for the first warmup period before you can use the oven.
Answer Jose, You will want to check the oven sensor on the oven to make sure that it is good. At room temp of 77 degrees it should show 1090 ohms. As the temp rises 1 degree you will need to add 2 ohms of resistance. You will want to test this and the wiring from the oven control to the sensor. This issue will most likely be the sensor or control board that is causing this issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, June 8, 2015
