Lisa for Model Number Amana AKG35E gas cooktop I need information on how to change the igniter on this exact model. It looks nothing like the one in the video. The igniter I purchased (3185804) looks like the correct part, but I really need to know how to change it without breaking anything. Thanks!
Answer Lisa, To replace the igniter on this unit you will need to remove the grates burner heads and knobs. Lift unit from installation and remove the screws around the perimeter of the burner box that hold the main top in place. Lift the main top and you should be able to replace the igniters.
