Donald K. for Model Number TEDS680BQ1 My dryer quit heating. I checked the voltage, getting 240. I think that it is the dryer coil, part no AP3109438. The coil is in the heating box which is sealed together around the coil. How do I get the old heat coil out of the heating box in order to change it out?
Answer Hello Donald. You will need to disconnect the power to the unit. Then remove the back panel from the dryer, and remove the heater housing from the dryer. Once removed, you will remove the screw securing the element WP4391960 and pull the element out of the housing. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
