Boomtown for Model Number 110.96272800 I got this dryer and was told it had stopped heating a couple of weeks ago. Well I check everything out and nothing is showing a bad part. Everything checks out. But no juice is going to the heating element. No burnt wires and everything checks out the way it should with continuity test. Could the timer be at fault? Its seems to be working alright tho. Any suggestions for the weary.
Answer Hello Boomtown. Check and see where your loosing voltage at. Unplug the wires going to the element WP4391960. Test each wire to ground and find the dead wire. Trace the wire and see if the motor or the timer is bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
