Lela Leong for Model Number KSEG950ESS0 In the diagram on your website, the downdraft filter has another part that looks like it's supposed to go with the downdraft filter. In the diagram, it's #5. Is this some sort of clip that's required to hold the filter in?

Answer Lela, The W10575393 / W10575393 Filter Guard/Clip Is more for reducing the noise level in the blower plenum. Is it a "mandatory" part for the housing, No not really. As long as you place the filter in the plenum at an angle from bottom to top it'll be OK. The part is presently on backorder and would need to be ordered from the manufacturer, this will add a few days to the delivery process, once you place the order. Thanks, Read More...
