Julie D for Model Number MSD2756GEW I changed the water filter when the light came on but my light remains on. I read the owners manual and comments and questions online and it states to run the water for 10 minutes and push the change filter pad and the lock pad simultaneously for at least 3 seconds and the light should blink then go off. I have no pad where the change filter light is and the lock pad does nothing. What will make the light go out?

For the model number supplied the manufacturer states as followed in the use and care guide: "To reset the Change filter light: Press and hold the LIGHT and LOCK pads until the CHANGE FILTER light blinks (approx. 3 seconds).
