Pete for Model Number GD5SHGXKT01 The water dispenser tube at the outlet is broken. I have a Whirlpool and the front panel does not have screws to remove it to get to the bracket as shown in you video. I have tried to snap the panel off but does not want to budge. I'm afraid of damaging it. Should I just go ahead and muscle it off?
Answer Pete, If you look at the very bottom of the outer trim piece on the dispenser, there are 2 slots, one on either side. You will need to use a flat blade screwdriver and slide up into the slots. Pry out on the trim piece and it will pop the bottom out. Do this on both sides. Once you do this you will lift the dispenser trim up and off. Read More...
