Cal for Model Number Kitchaid dishwasher KUDS30IXBL1 I too have a small amount of water dripping from the bottom of the float. (and insulation under that spot is stained) I took the float out, and it looks like a piece of the float is broken off where it surrounds the vertical tube of the 'overfill standpipe housing' which the float fits into. Bought a new float -- it has the same piece missing, and water still drips. This cannot be by design, can it?? -- there is clearly residue from where water has gotten into the standpipe at the broken location. Picture available --
