Hi Ebizsearch1. There is a float assembly that is approx. 2-1/2" in diameter, usually on the right front of your tub. This lifts up and down along with the amount of water in the tub. On the bottom of the dishwasher is the float -switch. The float stem has to always be in direct contact with the switch in order for the switch can open or close depending on the float "measurement". The switch controls the fill amount by letting 120vac to go to the water valve, controlling the water valve solenoid coils to be energized. I suspect that by your question, that the water valve is ok. I would focus on the float switch part # [3369067]. The float assembly part # is WP3376397. As the float lifts up, it will shut off the water. Thank - you.
