Cmiper for Model Number DU948PWKQ1 We have water leaking through above the float switch where the float and washer assembly are. The switch is working, but water comes in once the tub is full and the cycle starts. There doesn't appear to be too much water, I am wondering if it's possible that the float assembly washer could be the cause? Also, you mention that the washer should be below with the nut, isn't the washer supposed to be in the cap of the float assembly?
Answer Hi Cmiper. The float assy. as shown in the picture part # WP3376397, is assembled with the washer just on the backside of the nut. Its also there to stop the stem from coming back into the tub. Over soaping can cause suds to overflow out onto the top of the switch. Thank You. Read More...
