Washer2 for Model Number wvwc6esww0 Would the flow meter have anything to do with the hammering of my pipes when the washer stops filling with rinse water. This only happens when rinse water stops entering machine? I just replaced the sensor switch about a month ago. Because it would start to agitate before the water entered the machine. This now works. Answer Washer2, Normally what causes the hammering sound would be low water pressure. You will want to pull the hoses off the water valve and check to make sure that the screens are not clogged.
