Tim for Model Number WGD8410SW0 A week ago, our dryer began making a loud, obnoxious squealing noise during operation. By researching online, I determined that the drum rollers should be replaced. I ordered a repair kit (belt, pulley, and drum rollers), and replaced all parts in the kit. After reassembling the dryer, I discovered that while the unit will power on, it will not start. When pressing the "start" button, the unit gives 3 quick beeps and does nothing. After putting the unit into diagnostic mode, it provided an error code of F29 (Moisture Sensor). I removed and cleaned both moisture sensor bars, and reinstalled them. The unit still will not run, and still gives error code F29. I have ordered a new moisture sensor wire harness. Do you think this will fix the error code? If I install the new wire harness, and the error code persists, what should I do? There was no error code before I disassembled the unit to replace the belt and drum rollers. Thanks!
Answer Hello Tim. Check the harness and make sure you didn't unplug it or damage the harness. If the harness is good, then the board would be the issue. It sounds like it may had a bad connection or unplugged. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, July 27, 2015
