Gregg for Model Number 11092826102 I have a Kenmore elite HE3 that won't get clothes dry. I watched it run and here's what's happening: igniter goes on and gas valve opens; flames come on and the dryer starts heating. After about ten seconds the flame goes out. It will come back on again after a while, but then only goes on for ten seconds again. The dryer runs with the flames mostly off, so no real drying happening. The lint path is clear, no clogs. I already replaced the gas valve solenoids and the thermistor. The flame sensor and high limit thermostat check out OK on the ohmmeter. What's left? The dryer behaves like this on either moisture-sensed or timed dry cycles so I'm guessing it's not the moisture sensor or anything in that feedback loop? Are we down to the mother board/brain/circuit board? Thanks in advance for your help. Gregg
Answer Hello Gregg. It sounds like the gas valve may be failing on the unit and will need to be replaced. If the gas stops, the gas valve will need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 19, 2015
