By: Whirlpool
Part Number: OEM18025710
Manufacturer Part Number: WP3406653

This sensor harness connects the dryer's moisture sensor bars to the main wiring, helping the control or timer read moisture levels so Auto Dry cycles can advance and deliver consistent, reliable drying performance.

  • Provides the electrical path between the moisture sensor bars and the control/timer
  • Enables the dryer to sense wet fabrics and adjust or advance Auto Dry cycles
  • A damaged or open harness can cause Auto Dry to not advance, run too long, or stop early
  • Contribute to inconsistent dry times or a "Sensing" indicator that behaves abnormally
What's included: One sensor wire harness Install notes:
  • Disconnect power before servicing
  • Access the sensor bars at the front bulkhead; note wire routing and clip locations
  • Transfer routing/clips from the old harness; connect to both sensor bars and the main harness plug, ensuring snug terminals and clear wire paths
  • Restore power and run an Auto Dry test; inspect/clean the sensor bars and check harness continuity
