Jeff W for Model Number Whirlpool GEW9250W Electric Dryer My dryer is only working occasionally. It works great for a day and then quits blowing hot air. Then if I wait a day it will start to work again. Was does this sound like? Jeff
Answer Jeff, Based on this information, when the unit stops heating you will want to check at the terminal block and make sure that you have 240 vac across the outside wires on the block and check from each of the outer wires to the center wire for 120 vac. It sounds like you care loosing one side of your power supply. You will want to do the same thing at the outlet to make sure that there is power there. This could be anything from a loose wire to a bad house breaker causing the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, January 24, 2014
