Joseph for Model Number LEQ9858PW I bought a new heating coil and the Dryer thermal cutoff kit but it came with the type that attached to the connector. I have looked at the video and the one has a split er it has a red wire and an orange wire . My wires are 2 wire both red and no orange wire. Do I need another type of wiring setup ?
Answer Joseph, The way that wiring is run to the thermal cutoff and to the heater is, the red wire coming from the timer goes to one side of the thermal cutoff, then you have a jumper wire that will go between the thermal fuse and attaches to the high limit thermostat and then from the high limit will have a jumper from there to the heater terminal.
