Donjuan for Model Number WED9500TW2 Something keeps blowing my Thermal fuse. Part WP3392519 I've replaced that part (3) times.
Answer Hello Donjuan, This is the indication of an exhaust restriction. You will need to check the exhaust ducting from the back of the unit to outside atmosphere. If there is too much back pressure the pressure from the fan blower will blow the heat, lint, and moisture past the felt drum seals where it is introduced back into the cabinet of the dryer. This causes excessive heating of the thermal fuse which is opened from excessive temperatures. As a note, flexible ducting causes even more back pressure and contributes to this complaint.
