Chris for Model Number WED4800XQ0 electric dryer A couple of months my dryer stopped drying efficiently. On one full cycle, my clothes are still very damp. I set a second cycle and they dry fully. I ordered and replaced the cycling thermostat, but there was no change. The vents are clear. What do I need to do, what part?
Answer Chris, Make sure the blower wheel is not damaged or no lint in that area. Disconnect the vent behind the dryer. Run a load for 60 minutes timed dry. If your clothes are dry when the cycle is finished then there is a blockage in the vent. It does not have to be fully blocked to affect the dry times. Read More...
