Tara A. for Model Number GEW9200LW0 My heater element has 2 red wire connectors 1 of which has burned off. How do I know where the other end connects to? It runs under the exhaust barrel and it appears that it goes into a series of harnesses . I'm not sure if part #AP3134638 is what I need. Please inform. Thank you.
Answer Hi Tara. Yes, if the wire harness has a round clip that can be removed in order to access the complete wire harness. When the vent system is kinked or clogged or if the outside vent hood cap id not allowing the vent door to open and close on its own, it will allow the heating element to overheat, (expand) and eventually short out.
