Jason for Model Number KUDP01ILWH3 My heater element is heavily corroded and no longer works. It's the rounded shaped one, not like the one in the photo of this kit. However, I removed the door panel and looked at my control board and it looks just like the updated version included in this kit. Can I buy just a new heater element without the control board? Thanks
Answer Jason, You will need to install the heating element kit 8194200 / 8194200. The replacement element has a higher wattage for better performance, and the replacement control board, the higher wattage requires the use of a different electronic control which pulses the element on and off during its operation and must be replaced with the heating element.
