Vt for Model Number kudp01flss1 The dishwasher would not run and I replaced the ribbon cable, user interface and control board and that solved the problem. Dishwasher operated ok for several weeks. Lately the dishwasher will run the first wash cycle and drain and stop with flashing green light 7 times. I can reset the dishwasher restart and it will run wash and drain again and stop with flashing light 7 times. It will run rinse only with no problem. Please advise!
Answer VT, Usually the LED flashing seven times, indicate an issue in the water heating circuit. Most often, this is due to a low water temperature (the water in the bottom of the tub after the first fill cycle, needs to be at least 120 dgrs.F.) The control has a limited amount of time to heat and increase the water temp. to 140 dgrs.F. You also want to test and make sure there is a resistance reading across the heater element terminals, and the limit thermostat, for a "closed" circuit at room temperature, and the thermistor should read 48 to 52 ohms resistance across the yellow/black and white wires at room temp. as well. But check the water temp. in the tub first, the hotter the water, the better the dishwasher works. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 25, 2012
