Chris for Model Number Maytag Double oven MEW6627BAC My oven doors do not seem to close all the way and make a tight seal. If you push on the doors when they are closed, they have some give. However this hasn't seemed to effect the function of the oven. How can I tell if it is the hinges that are faulty? Is there some kind of adjustment I can make or is there something else that can be causing this? Please help.
Answer Hello Chris, If the door is positioned on the hinges properly and it is still not sealing, it's likely your hinges WP74008014 are the issue. Some have adjustment and some do not. If they cannot be adjusted to your satisfaction I would replace them. Also make sure your door lining is engaging the hinges properly.
