Allan W for Model Number WFG520SOAS2 We took our oven door off by disengaging the small rotating latches. The door is still off, but one of the rotating latches is stuck in the nagged position along with the hinge witch is in the eclipsed position. We cannot manage to swing the latch back to the open position. Any suggestions, prying it did not work and I can see what is stopping it from moving.
Answer Allan, The only way to get the door hinge pulled down to the open position is to pull it open. There should have been a locking tab or a place to put a pin to hold it from closing and they are very difficult to get back to the open position. Use a town to wrap around it to pull it down.
